Guidelines

Vanitas comes out periodically. While impossible to predict, usually there is a one to two year span between issues. If you submit your work, you must plan to be patient with the editorial process. We consider each submission carefully, and replies may come some time after the end of the reading period.

Submissions by e-mail (vanitasmagazine@mac.com) are highly preferred. All replies will be made by e-mail. It is preferred that you attach a separate file for each text. You must include your name and e-mail address on every page. If it is absolutely impossible for you to make a submission by e-mail, you may use regular mail (Vanitas, c/o Vincent Katz, 211 West 19th Street, #5, New York, NY 10011), but note that replies are made only by e-mail. Do not send SASE or expect reply by normal mail. The reading period for each issue is from October 1 to February 28.

Subscription

Subscriptions are $10 for one issue, $18 for two issues. Send a check for the appropriate amount, made out to Vincent Katz, to: VANITAS, c/o Vincent Katz, 211 West 19 Street, #5, New York, NY 10011. Indicate which issues you wish to receive.
